Try March 2000, when the markets began to crumble.
Clint was in office for the rest of they year.


As late as Dec/2000, Chambers of CSCO was saying that business was still good. Maybe in hindsight the economists now say that we went into recession in March, 2000 but it was not clear until January of 2001 that the economy had gone south.
