Many-many moderate independents voted for Kerry in NH which has the White House afraid. Also, once Lieberman drops out, Kery will get 90% of those voters. Bush is losing the battle of the middle versus Kerry, though he would easily win it versus Dean. Dean has almost no support from moderates in NH. His claims that he's not a liberal fell on deaf ears. Maybe not liberal for Vermont but that's not saying much. Vermont is the most left-wing place in the US.
