For what? To prove Saddam had nothing to hide, even as Saddam acted otherwise?

Here's the bottom line: Democrats say Bush duped them, but the truth is that Saddam in his massive ego trip duped the world. Even your hero Bill Clinton was duped into thinking Saddam had WMD, and this was well before Bush took office. Funny thing is that the dupe worked a little too well thanks to the hawkishness of the Bush administration, and now Saddam is in custody and humiliation because of it.

To say, after Joe Wilson's debunking of the niger story, Paul O'Neil's assertions of never seeing any evidence of WMDs even as he served on the NSC, and even as Kay was saying publicly that there were no WMDs cheney sticking by his lies in Europe, after former deputy CIA director Richard Kerr, who is conducting a review of the prewar intelligence, has said that intelligence was full of qualifiers and caveats, and based on circumstantial and inferential evidence. And as many in the very DIA community were talking about the aluminum tubes as missile parts and the so called mobile labs as weather balloon labs, still Bush declared, "We found the weapons of mass destruction."...the DIA's own engineering, --Rumsfeld's own intel experts--disagreed with this finding. And even as Wolfowitz would candidly say that they settled on the WMDs as a beaurocractic reason....

Please...for Kay to say that this was an intel failure is another self serving lie. He stands to be as embarassed as the rest of them, as he was one of the most vocal proponents of the war.

I make this prediction... as the days pass, more intelligence people will come forward and show the country what a collection of dishonest bastards run this country today.
