Kerry's voting record is public knowledge. It is posted on a hundred websites and the Republicans have already been through it trying to claim he's weak on defense, or votes like Kennedy, etc. The problem is, Kerry is a war hero and is quite different from Teddy Kennedy, more like his brother John, without the girls and mafia connections. Therefore, comparing him to Kennedy is a compliment. As for calling him weak on defense, he'll just send in his old boatmates to have a talk with the press and that story will fall by the wayside. Just because he isn't for every Pentagon boondoggle doesn't mean he doesn't care about our troops and our defense.
