Well, I don't know what to say to that. I don't think Dean's support comes from sound bytes like "I'm the outsider". The reason I support Dean is because he took some unpopular positions and wasn't afraid to voice them, and that is all. I would support any "insider" willing to do that also, just like I support McCain for example who does the same thing. I don't think losing Trippi means Dean can or cannot say anything. The fact is Dean stood up to Bush on Iraq, and also on something equally important, free trade. Somebody needed to question these wacky mantras. The other thing Dean does, is he tells it like it is with budget matters. He doesn't promise tax cuts which are too costly for example.

To be fair though, with Dean being such an unknown at the outset he could get away with saying anything, where frontrunners cannot.
