Looking for advice - starting 2 days ago, I began getting "Internet Explorer is encountering a problem and must close" messages when I tried doing many of my usual tasks such as directly clicking on links (now they'll only open if I copy and paste them in), or clicking on "TO" in my Yahoo Email to put in who I want to send emails to (now I have to open address book first, check who I want to send email to, and then compose a new email) or when I try to open Internet Explorer directly from the startup window. I'm running Windows XP on a Dell Dimension 4600, Pentium 4, 2.4 GHZ, 512MB, purchased new this past summer. I ran a virus scan and it came up clean. Anyone have ideas of how I should proceed? TIA --stevenallen
