I would use 2 hands. Back in the 70's while at 29 Palms, I met a former Marine that had a house out in the desert. He had a shotgun he had put a pistol grip on. Showing off using one hand he fired both barrels and the grip came apart in his hand and twisted his wrist a little. I had a Smith 45 that I sold when my kids were small just because I didn't want any accidents. They're bigger now and after a recent attempted break in at my house, I'd like to exercise my second amendment rights again. Might go for a 9mm.
