HIET HiEnergy Tech. Inc. 1.10

HiEnergy Tech has developed a "stoichometry" system for bomb detection. This involves directing a neutron stream at a target and reading returns. The claim of the company is that the system can detect the chemical composition of the target through 3/4" of steel with almost 100% accuracy.
It has had extensive testing with the US Armed Forces for detection of land mines, although no product has been brought to fulfillment. There are two competitive technologies, PELAN and TNA.

On Jan. 22, the company announced its first product, a car bomb detection system that will fit into the back of a van, and can detect the chemical content of a car trunk without opening the trunk. The unit is priced at $99,000 with a $17,000 annual service contract. The stock had a volume surge and ran up from .90 to 1.40. The stock traded above $3 in December 2002.

The current chart formation is a consolidation triangle centered on a price of $1.10.

I don't have any earnings model on the car bomb unit. This is a massively speculative play with a potential 1000% gain and a high chance of loss.

I own 10,000 shares bought for $1.03 on 1/22/03.
