Personally I don't think a hispanic candidate does much good, as hispanics tend to identify with their nation of origin and not with the "hispanic" category.

A black candidate would be ideal, but who? I like Charles Rangel myself but a lot of people don't.

A woman would be great but preferably a moderate-leaning one.
