well Bill, since we have nine million looking for work its hard to believe the strong employment numbers are the cause for fed raising.

However, I saw republican congressperson Breier on cnbc saying HOUSEHOLD employment was through the roof. So who knows, maybe the republicans have convinced themselves there really isn't a problem.

Durable goods were bad again yesterday. Durable goods were always supposed to predict capex, and capex was what we have been waiting on for jobs. Of course you and I know capex is offshore. So what can greenspan say?

Bush = stagflation, just like Tigerpaw said a year ago.
