"Take the spontaneous generation of everything out of nothing just for starters. Is that observable? No. Is it repeatable? No. Do So called Scientists believe it anyway? Why yes they do, hmmmmmmm?"

The Big Bang remains a theory, I don't think many people consider it an established fact. Also I don't think anyone has posited what came BEFORE the big bang, obviously something did, energy can be neither created or destroyed or something to that effect.

Lastly, the Big Bang theory does not negate the existence of God. To me, accepting the Big Bang theory doesn't make the universe any more understandable, it is just a thin layer on a very thick onion. It leaves open the question what what lies beneath the final layer of the onion.

I don't think anyone of any intelligence or sanity claims to understand the universe, and probably we never will, so faith will always have a role to play.
