Hi twfowler; Re: "Did FDR kill hundreds of thousands of Americans in the 40s?"

WW2 wasn't an "optional" war, silly. But yes, Hitler and Tojo did kill millions of their own citizens.

Re: "Your analysis has not been shown to be accurate in Iraq."

Interesting! What part of my analysis do you mean? That there would be no war because Bush wasn't a complete idiot? Well I was wrong on that one!

Or that Iraq had no WMDs? (#reply-18587191 #reply-18593817 do note the irony of Nadine's reply: #reply-18594751 #reply-18214558 ) David Kay agrees with me now, but he's still trying to find a way to cover his boss' butt.

That the Iraqi military would put up a fight, but that it would not win against the US military? (#reply-17998286 #reply-18123176 #reply-18310807 ) That's exactly what happened.

Maybe you're talking about where I predicted that in the event of an occupation, the Iraqis would sabotage their own oil fields and that it would be utterly impossible to have an occupation that paid for itself. (See #reply-19140117 )

Or do you mean pretty much the only prediction I made that is still somewhat open, where I said that the Iraqi civilians would not welcome us, but would instead eventually drive us out of the country and that there would be a ramp in anti occupation activity rather than an immediate full scale guerilla war? (see #reply-18127182 #reply-18657990 #reply-18667372 #reply-18668030 #reply-18743807 #reply-18662336 #reply-18657926 #reply-18127464 #reply-17990152 )

You're certainly not talking about the numerous posts where I predicted that our soldiers would be met with a friendly welcome in Afghanistan. (See #reply-16357787 #reply-17990148 #reply-17950169 )

Hey, just like I said, six months into our occupation the insurgency is ramping up. Iraqis are now taking our helicopters out at a rate 2x the Russian losses in Afghanistan. And no, that's not sustainable for the US any more than it was sustainable for the USSR.
