I'm sick of GOP revisionist history BS. The entire Bush Sr. economy was one big four year period of malaise. Everyone knows it and it's why he lost the election. for you to suggest anything different is really dishonest. For a long tem now the right-wing has been actively trying to rewrite history and it stinks.

I am also sick of the so-called "Clinton recession". There wasn't one. the recession started in March 2001 under Bush's watch. Clinton gave us sven straight years of prosperity with a dip just as it was clear Gore was going to lose. That's a fact. Another fact -

FACT: Do you know how many Reagan administration officials were convicted -- not just indicted, but convicted -- of crimes while, for conduct while they were in office? Thirty. Do you know how many Clinton Administration officials were? One. The Chief of Staff of the Secretary of Agriculture, in a case that involved football tickets. One person. After eight years and seven independent counsels, dozens of congressional committees, scores of right-wing lawsuits, tens of thousands of investigative journalist
pieces -- one person. And that, the Chief of Staff of the Secretary of Agriculture.

On top of the thirty there were a whole bunch more who were indicted but got off, some on technicalities only, like Ollie North.
