I don't see why you keep bringing up another public investigation. I'm just talking about a fireside chat--"I understand your concern and frustration. I get frustrated too. If this, then that. But that's water over the dam. Here's what we need to do now. For the sake of the country, let's move forward together." And boom, it's all over but a few dying squeals from the die-hards and the I told you sos. Agreed, election years are not optimum. But trying to keep your finger in the dam for a year isn't optimum, either.
