Eric, your point is well taken which is why I sold all of my position on what I was considering a long term investment. I got tired of reading the FedEx planes this, the FedEx planes that in their reports.

Funny how those FedEx planes are the scapegoat. The previous quarter earnings were decent and they said the FedEx planes required less maintenance than expected. This recent quarter they are all of a sudden bad again. I also find it interesting that ATLS doesn't present it quite like a bad decision to lease the planes, but rather as they are the victim of some dog deal with FedEx. They seem to want to emphasize "Fedex". That's the impression I get anyway.

I can't believe ATLS was unaware of the maintenance requirements of an older 747 when they signed the lease. In the big picture, all expenses have lead to the earnings shortfall. Don't let the FedEx excuse fool you. My confidence in management fell into question, that is why I'm out.
