Many of the anti-war people are sufficiently patriotic that they couldn't imagine the President of the United States publicly and repeatedly lying about such an important thing.

Carl, it does seem to me that the cries of "BUSH LIED! LIAR, LIAR, PANTS ON FIRE!" have been pretty loud and long from the anti-war people for the last year and more. Have you been living under a rock?

The arguments suggesting that Iraq had WMDs were simply not logically consistent, while the arguments that suggested that they'd been destroyed were.

Let me see - the arguments that Saddam had secretly destroyed his WMDS without telling the UN, so as to continue losing billions in oil revenue for no gain - those are you argument you are calling logically consistent? Didn't you call Saddam's strategy stupid one post ago?

Stupid in one post, only logical argument the next. Some consistency.
