According to Mollie Ivins, one of AS's heroes, our efforts in Kosovo, under Clinton, were undertaken with "purity of intentions" because we were out to stop a murderous tyrant. mollyivins.com She also thought that the bombing raids were ineffectual because we did not achieve our objective. I wonder how she squares this with the Iraq situation. We deposed a murderous tyrant and did so effectively. How come Democratic Adminstrations are the only ones who can have "purity of intentions"? Just an observation.
