Holy guacamole! NPR was reporting tonight that Dean had a war chest of $45 million going into Iowa, and about $4 million now, yet has only spent about $10 million on commercials. Where did the money go?

The reporter interviewed some political campaign type who said that typically a campaign spends 75% of the war chest on commercials and 25% on overhead.

What gives?
