Hi Bilow: How safe is Iraq.? From looking at some statistics on Web sites here are countries with support personnel in Iraq. (Note: These figures change constantly and are close but not precise) 1. US 132,000 Casualties 518 2. UK 11,200 .... 57 3. S Korea 3000..none 4. Italy 2400....17 5. Poland 2000...2 6. Aust 2000.....None 7. Spain 1300....8 8. Ukraine 1000..1 9. Japan 1000 ..none 10. Thailand 400..2 11 Philipines 179. none 12 Denmark unknown, 1 casualty Plus Netherlands, Romania, Chezk, New Zealand 29 Countries in all with military/peacekeeping forces cnn.com Casualties from all causes, average from 100 of the 518 US casualties 1. Combat or bombs .. 50 2. Non-hostile causes, like sickness or drowning 22 3. Vehicle accidents 14 4. Helicopter crashes 12 6 Friendly fire 2 In Summary: 1.
