France was long known to have oil connectivity to Iraq. This is not new news. Iraq also had a lot of debt owed both France and Russia. So how do these two match up? I don't know. Do you? I do know that Bush sent James Baker to meet with the leaders of those nations in an effort to get the debt forgiven. How does oil intersect with this debt? I don't know. Do you?
