The IBES data base shows that two analysts are indeed doing that, and in a big way. This is one of the main reasons I came into this stock. Any time you see analysts going out on a limb like this, it means they really believe in their estimates. Here we have two analysts way above the pack, with estimates of .30 and .28 for this fiscal year, then we see about four in the center around .23, and the rest stretching down to a few cents per share. So there is a broad array of estimates, with two analysts way above the rest, sticking their necks out.
The way this posts, it is not easy to read, but the first number is the newer estimate, and the second number is the previous estimate. So in the first case, the analyst revised up from .231 to .308 on June 19, and so on down the line. Sometimes the name of the brokerage is listed, sometimes not.
