That's just right-wing BS,. You're going to hear a lot of right-wing BS about Kerry now. They're very afraid of him.

Wind farms are great but they should not be in areas where migratory birds are. Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard have almost zero undeveloped land left which is not important habitat to birds or wetland eco-system. If Kerry objects to a wind farm somewhere it's because there's a damn good reason for it. Otherwise, the more of them we have the better. The entire US desert could be turned into a big wind and solar farm. Carter planned this in the 70's but Reagan killed the entire program as he came into office, being in the pockets of Big Oil as the Bushies are.

This is similar to their war on drugs which is not really about drug abuse but about soft drugs like marijuana competing with expensive pharmacuticals like Valium Xanax and Lithium. Therefore we cannot grow hemp which could replace timber as our main source of paper pulp.

There is a lot of big-time deceptive special interest fraud going on in our country and it's time to get rid of it. The whole notion we cannot get off Arab oil is ridiculous. We can if we make the committment to. Kerry will make that happen. Bush will take us in the opposite direction. Backwards.
