We can go back and forth on this. I see it very simply. War is awful. All killing is awful. We have a tiny strip of land in the vast mideast occupied by Jews looking for a safe haven in a world that has historically been hostile. This narrow strip of land would not cause much attention but for the fact that the Jews built it into a world power military, economically, etc.

The Arabs have used the focus on Israel to keep their leaders in power despite attempts by the entire world to bring peace. Israel is willing to give up land for peace yet the Arabs refuse to admit that they even negotiate in secret until peace treaties are actually signed. In the interim, they wage war using tactics that are inhumane.

The main difference in tactics is that the Israelis target terrorists and civilians get hit. The Palestinians target civilians and, once in awhile, the military gets hit.

If you don't understand that, it's probably foolish to continue what has been a civil discussion.
