As you stated, the products in the pipeline are the real story with this company. I look at the Bayer connection as a fallback position. Even if Matritech doesn't successfully develop and bring these products to market (and I'm betting they will), the patents should make them an attractive target for a buy-out, most likely by Bayer, but possibly by some other large player.

Interest in cancer research in general seems to have increased lately. I believe this interest should help as the company is "rediscovered".
