CalFed got a takeover offer for about $23.5/share. What's interesting is that the shareholders of CalFed will recieve a type of CALGZ certificate giving them, not the acquiring company, a stake in the outcome of the lawsuit. This may have a slightly negative affect on CALGZ as CALGZ will no longer be the only pure play on the suit and many CalFed holders may cash out their new certificates.
