Even though there are Republicans who support it, and I believe J. McCaine is one, Bush refuses to appoint a special commission or prosecutor to look into why there aren't any weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The failure of Bush to create a commission will probably cause him a great deal of trouble, especially if Americans continue to die in Iraq.
