RE>>This self righteous Christian attitude about it doesn't cut it<<

What attitude - My entire post TO you was SCRIPTURE.

RE>>God hates divorce, but it's not a sin.<<

How can God hate something that is not sin?

To hate without justification is sin - Does God sin?

God's hatred is perfectly just - God hates sin and sinners.

It is only in Christ through repentance and obedience that men are saved.

Without repentance - there is no real conversion.

RE>>When a wife won't try why bother.<<

When I married it was for "better or worse - sickness or health - richer or poorer - til death does us part."

Marriage is a VOW made to God

How can you break a vow made to God without sinning Sidney?

RE>>living out your life unhappy is not acceptable anymore<<

God commands men - he does not merely advise.

1 Corinthians 7:10 And unto the married I command, yet not I, but the Lord,

If you divorce your wife just because you are emotionally unfulfilled or whatever
you are not a SERVANT of Christ.

You are self seeking and still lost in sin.

Christ allowed divorce for one offence only - adultery.

Unless the unbeliever leaves you - you are
BOUND and TIED by a HOLY VOW and COVENANT
to stay married - trying to drive her away is also sin.

Unhappy? Who cares??

Get righteous - then you will find happiness.

Unlawful divorce is sin - unhappiness is your decision.
