I put in a lot of time for Kerry because after I met him and talked to him a few times I became convinced that he was righteously ready to lead the free world. It is a no BS statement I'm making.

I looked into the guy's eyes and I saw he knew he was destined. I also saw no ego about it. I saw someone genuinely concerned to help straighten out this crazy world and minimize corruption and deceit. I saw that he knew this was his time. And I'm sure he went throgh hell when dean was running away with it but he never gave up for a minute.

Apparently, millions of others have now seen what I saw. Frankly, I also saw a guy who could out-manoevre Karl Rove and Bush because he's too smart for their BS. He will alwsays fight back when they attack him an he will win most of those battles. And a genuine war hero who has never talked about it much but now knows in a time of war that his real heroism is something people want in a president. Also, you have to respect a combat hero. Anything on the campaign trail is trivial compared to AK-47 bullets whizzing over your head while you save the life of a Green Beret on the Mekong. Clark is also a war hero but he is an inexperienced politician and doesn't have his story straight. Maybe a Veep but not a Prez.
