<<<"I want the American people to know that I, too, want to know the facts," Bush told reporters yesterday. "I want to be able to compare what the Iraq Survey Group has found with what we thought prior to going into Iraq." Bush added that Hussein was a danger and "we dealt with the danger. And, as a result, the world is a better place and a more peaceful
place, and the Iraqi people are free.">>>

I assume if Bush really wanted to know the "facts", he'd be real gung ho on ordering a full scale investigation.

And you've just gotta love the part about Iraqis being free. Persons suspected of a crime are tortured to death. Soldiers kick down doors in entire neighborhoods to search the homes of citizens. An old woman was blown to pieces in one such raid. If a suspect has family, the family members are kidnapped and held hostage for the surrender of the suspect. Bush is dead set against holding real elections because his favorite candidates wouldn't stand a chance. Innocent civilians are gunned down in the streets and every single person in Iraq has a gun to their heads. Not to mention that starting two wars hardly makes the world more peaceful.

It's enough to make a person misty eyed over the golden age of the Nixon years.
