Now I remember the incident when I evidently got caught in middle of some SI crossfire. Thanks for the explanation.

After observing the different GW Bush & Dem supporters skirmishes, it's apparent my political middle of the road is a "no-man's-land" here at SI. That fact reflects 50/50 split in general population.

As a Bush voter in 2000, it amazes me that many veterans have not become more dis-satisfied with Bush Adm domestic policies which are devastating small-town America. This election might be last chance to force WashDC to make changes to their trade & immigration policies. Bush Adm religious adherence to so-called free trade without addressing negative effects on average Americans cannot be tolerated any longer IMO. We must hold their feet to the fire this time or everyone's job will be endangered in not to distant future. Just the threat alone of possibly being denied re-election(last thing he wants is to repeat Bush Sr's scenario) could result in closer scrutiny of the injustices contained in WTO & NAFTA policies for millions of unemployed & about to be unemployed Americans.
