Not really since the economy had heated up and was on a strong developing push when he came into office. Clinton gets too much credit. We created the prosperity not the government. Sorry, but do you really think that the companies and consumers have nothing to do with the economy and it is decided by goofs like Bush, Kerry, Clinton...? It is more complicated than that.
