Yet trickle-down never works. Why is that? These days it seems to be because when you give the rich back money they don't need, they just sock it away for their heirs. They don't create many jobs or spend it because they already have everything they need and more. The way to have done tax cuts was by direct stimulus, giving money to those who create jobs and those who will spend it right away. Bush was in the pockets of the rich so he refused to see that obvious fact. He also spends way too much in an attempt to try and buy Democratic voters.
