In the process of balancing what we do and when with various political considerations that cross t's and dot i's, I have seen no errors in Mr. Powell's conduct. When it was time to say exterminate saddam it was said. It was said with vigor and verve. And in filling in the time it would take to get the logistics in place to exterminate saddam, the process of herding idiots was the absolute correct policy. I believe the honest attempt to herd the idiots was good policy. It was right, it was not wrong. The fact that you and I know they were idiots does not change the fact that the genius leadership of the President tried as time allowed to bring them along. Collin Powell did a wonderful job in attempting to make it happen.
