If he wakes up at 2am he'll take a leak, hook up his boat and go. He might drive to the river which is a little over an hour away or head North. When he heads North he stops and nets bait, launches in a river in Wisconsin 4 1/2 hours later. Fishes all day and night and drives home in the morning. He only uses Zebco 808 spincast reels and shad for bait. It's not unusual for him to come home with 15 cats up to 20 pounds. One year he netted 800 shad to use for bait for a week long trip with 5 other guys and was looking for more. BTW, he's never eaten a bite of fish in his life, has them cleaned and gives them away.
