DEMOCRATS AND TERRORISTS ARE LIKE MINDED..
Both Want George Bush Gone!
By Debbie Daniel

Who hates George Bush the most? The Democrats or the Terrorists? No matter what the answer . . . if George Bush fails, America loses. Whatever happened to “United We Stand?”

The presidential candidates seem to mock the very motto by which we live, saying the harsh rhetoric is for the good of the country . . . Bush has to go.

Hogwash! I don't see the good in it.

The terrorists want to kill Americans and the Democrats are fueling hatred against the man who is leading the effort against these murderers. Now how does that make sense?

If the Democrats think these vicious barbs against the president are quelling his resoluteness . . . think again. You´re piercing the heart of the American people and killing our spirit to unify.

It´s frightening to think that the Democrats and the terrorists are on the same page – their ultimate goal – get rid of George Bush . . . he's in the way.

And oh, please don´t insult our intelligence by saying – as the little Texas sweetheart, Molly Ivins said so sheepishly – “It´s not that I hate George Bush, it´s just that his policies are all wrong.”

Aw shucks, Miss Molly, aren´t you something to set the record straight? What a girl!

The truth is that the liberals are playing right into the hands of our enemy by turning on our own president and calling him names in front of the whole world.

France loves it. Germany relishes in it. Democrats wallow in it. And the terrorists are depending on it.

The more the enemy can weaken the strength of our leadership, the easier it will be to take advantage of a flagging nation.

And the presidential candidates could very well be putting our lives in danger by railing against our leader. We are at the mercy of thugs who would love nothing more than to find us fighting amongst ourselves in the name of democracy . . . or for your almighty candidacy.

And oh, speaking of the ALMIGHTY. What a farce for John Kerry to answer a question about General Jerry Boykin by relegating the general´s deep and abiding faith in his God to a joke.

Kerry´s answer: "Well, General Boykin really confused the administration, because when he mentioned the ALMIGHTY, Bush thought he was talking about Dick Cheney; Cheney thought he was talking about Haliburton; and John Ashcroft thought he was talking about him." (???)

Kerry thought he´d bring the house down on that one, but it just didn´t seem so funny in the context of which he referred to the ALMIGHTY.

Not only do we enjoy denigrating our president, but now we find pleasure in using the Almighty as a premise for our jokes. We truly do worship a different God than the terrorists; if you don´t think so, trying inserting the word ALLAH instead of ALMIGHTY. I wouldn´t try it, Mr. Kerry. Just keep it directed at the Christians, it won´t matter what mockery you make of their God, will it?

Another point I´ve observed is that the Democrats and the terrorists alike are getting desperate. They seem to be revving up the pressure at just about the same pace . . . Bush is getting to them.

In spite of the George Bush hate-mongers, it looks like he´s doing it right or they – Democrats and terrorists – wouldn´t be so intent on destroying him. The “verbal" arrows shot lately at the president have more poisonous tips, and the bombs exploding near police stations in Baghdad seem to have a more distinct message . . . YOU´RE NOT GOING TO WIN, WE WILL BE IN CONTROL.

It´s ironic, but definitely a common thread – both want control.

We´ve got a war going on and some of you think George Bush is the enemy. What will it take to remind you he´s on our side?

But no, many of you are convinced he lied to you – looked you in the face and lied.

My friends, Bill Clinton is the liar, not George Bush. The day that George Bush comes forward on National TV and looks square in the camera and says to the American people, “Indeed I did lie to you about that man, Mr. Hussein,” is the day I´ll say you´re right. But for now, you´re dead wrong on this one.

And speaking of dead . . . our country has never gone through anything like this in our entire history. If, for just one sane moment, any of you could stop hurling stones and concede that we´ve never fought a war like this before; that there´s an enemy who won´t show his ugly face, then we might be able to get somewhere. Right now, we are not united. And divided we WILL fall.

Well then, how can any intelligence give us a timeline when this will end, present an exit strategy, or an account of what it will cost when there´s no precedent? We´re more or less trying to find our way through a storm with no light. God help us.

And everybody´s trying to take control of the ship, because most don´t think we have a bona fide captain. He didn´t get the popular vote of all the sailors on board.

Well, that last captain we had, didn´t come on board ship with the popular vote either. And if I remember, the water was pretty calm then.

The president is doing everything he can to steer this ship through a terrible storm, and some of you are determined to push him overboard.

The display of animus, shown at the past debate in Detroit, reminded me of a bunch of idiots throwing anchors overboard trying to create a drag on the vessel . . . not letting it move forward.

If you don´t trust this man, and the God he prays to fervently, why don´t you just bail-out and lighten the load? You´re doing nothing but trying to sink a great ship . . . America!

And if this sounds hard to compare the Democrats to the terrorists, get over it. I got my inspiration from your own fearless leader, Nancy Pelosi, who tried to equate the raids on sixty Wal-Mart stores as “terrorizing.”

Mrs. Pelosi, if that was terror, I guess the look on that little six year old, Elian Gonzales´s face when Janet Reno ordered the raid in Florida, was a look of: “Hi Guys, where´ve you been?”

Sorry, my friends, but as Bill Clinton said about George Bush #1: “You are so pathetic!”
