The Bush deficits are running at over 500 billion a year. I'd say 1.5 trillion in new deficits is charitable. It might ende up being 2 trillion or more. Bush has only made the deficits worse by upping spending and calling for permanent tax cuts. Also the spending in Iraq is not going to slow down, the medicare bills costs 25% more than claimed and now Bush wants to enlarge the military budget further plus send us to Mars. As McCain says, the money just ain't there to pay for any of this.
