So invading Afghanistan was wrong? Certainly was self-defense. Would it have been wrong to pre-empt the Nazis in the Rhineland? So on and so forth. Saying that "starting wars is wrong" is a very simplistic principle, as a general rule.

Besides, the poll indicated that war, any war, is wrong. And I certainly believe that there is a large segment of the population in Europe and America that believes that even war in self-defense is wrong. It's the "why do they hate us" and "America deserved 911" crowd. They are self-loathing.
