It's easy to criticize. What is the other option?

Keep fighting?

Allow terrorists to keep killing civilians?

Are Palestinians willing to negotiate? Arafat has gone through how many PM's, each of whom wanted authority to make peace.

I wasn't in favor of the fence when I first heard about it. But if the Palestinians refuse to negotiate and terrorists keep up their cowardly attacks, it seems the only solution is to leave most of the territories and to make a fence that will provide some defensible borders.
