Who would have taught the majority of Africans to read and write if not the missionaries? You may not like religion, but it served a purpose as far as educating the Africans.

You may not have a soul, but I hope I have one...and if I do and I'm right, I'll put in a good word for you..

Granted, horrible acts have been committed in the name of religion, but some good has come of it also..
