BH,

-OFF TOPIC-

We may get a lot of arguments here, but I dont care---CSCO is one class higher than the closest competition.

COMS: I had it; but unloaded before the February networkers demise. Merger with USRX extends channel presence, but the major issues of not having a big piece in enterprise networking remains a serious issue. Merger circumstances--soft and hard issues--are uncertain.

CSCO: Will achieve dominance with its current installed base and end-to-end product line/services; IOS (internet op. system) is CSCO's trump card in addition to new technology acquisitions.

ASND: Now mostly a traders stock--really sad. Remote access solutions, in which ASND had an early dominance, is having a changed landscape, and ASND's merger with CSCC will post additional uncertainties. I bought and sold the stock as well as LEAPS calls in June/July for a decent profit, but I no longer wish to own the stock the way it is.

At different times during the recent past, I owned virtually all the networker stocks, but now I only have CSCO (lots of it), BAY (a great turn-around story) and some PAIR.

Back to your question: I would definitely consider switching at the appropriate time.

Just MHO.
