Saddam turned out to be almost the opposite of what Bushes claimed. They claimed he was an powerful dangerous force with a potent arm with WMD's ready to use. Nothing of the sort. His army collapsed almost immediately. The greatest threat the US faced entering Iraq was a sand storm.
