Teaching kids to dislike their culture and prefer others is not a rational outlook. Especially when you do it by "bad mouthing" the US. We have a real educational crisis in this country, and this doesn't help. Our ability to compete is dependent upon having a competent, educated work force. We are going the other way. Instead of making sure our low end students have marketable skills, we are filling our prisons with them.

The Indian and Chinese kids are not taught to dislike their country's culture. And their teachers don't look upon classroom competition as hurting their students.
