Hi Voodoo,
<<<I think the point that many here make that is very valid, is that as these economies grow like they are expected, and capital is invested, they are likely to continue to deflate our economy by stealing our dollars. >>>

I think the problem concerning outsourcing anything outside of manufacturing is largely imaginary.

I don't think anyone has any statistics on white collar and technology jobs being transferred out of the country. I am willing to bet that it is an insignificant amount. If you can give me any case studies where there is success in outsourcing these jobs, I can probably show you that those studies were done by failed dotcomers now working for Corporations making up fanciful business plans showing how much money they are saving by outsourcing. These are the same people that wrote all those dotcom business plans.

Outside of manufacturing widgets, where you can set up long assembly lines using cheap human labor, white collar and technology jobs, requiring the smallest amount of imagination is not scaleable and are not going to be exported anytime soon. By then, we will have more to fear from AI. There will be no jobs left for anyone.

Show me some real numbers and some real case studies. (But you have to be very careful with these case studies. Most of these studies are conducted by the same types of people who wrote the business plan for the AOL/Time Warner merger.)

Mary
