I just noted to PROLIFE that I am behind in my knowledge of its reputation, since they began efforts to get cleaner when I was a teenager. You are probably correct. I can see how the area you mention might be good, though I have not been fishing for quite awhile myself. Of course, the Potomac narrows considerably past the Key Bridge. Considering the falls and rapids upriver, I would presume that it is shallower as you head towards Great Falls, as well. When I was a child, I sometimes went with my father to bicycle along the canal in that area, and I now live not so far from Great Falls, MD..........
