I too haven't met anybody who really thinks as highly of other people's values - but I've met many who say they do, under the guise of multiculturalism. It is very unPC now to say that you, as a member of western culture, can actually judge any practices of non-western culture to be deplorable - even if you profess belief in universal human rights and the non-western practices are extremely abusive of human rights. But then, PC is not logically consistent.
