The war spending bill comes later, after the election, and is not included in this budget. Don't ask me why or ask me for a link, I heard it on CBS news this evening (and those that choose not to believe CBS it's OK with me, don't shoot the quoter).

I think you'll find it's not social programs, it is pork. Things like a golf appreciation program for St. Augustine, Florida are being funded. And if you care for the environment, the EPA is being cut. Agriculture is being cut.

Frankly, I don't think this budget will fly in Congress. I think the fiscal backlash is finally starting. Probably too little too late.
