The economy is not rolling except at the CEO level and in the stock market. The jobs market stinks because the Bush administration shaped their tax cuts to create a gulf between rich and middleclass, then to reward companies for downsizing the moving jobs abroard. If he had used his tax cuts to stimulate the economy and reward hirings then we'd have a real recovery. Now this is only a recovery for those who are wealthy with large amounts of money in the market or real estate so they don't have to work. Also, Greenspan hinted he might raise rates this year. The first uptick may pop the market bubble. Be prepared. Interest rates have been kept artificially low for a long-long time.
