YOU should know the reason those claims never came up until he ran for President. And, that's just what they are -- claims, repeated and embellished by politically motivated hate mongers for political gain and acquisition of power, nothing more. The fact that they came up when and from where they did, and wouldn't have otherwise, proves it, eh?

You're pretty damn complacent about the 300,000 to 1,000,000 innocents that Saddam killed. I suspect it's because they don't make up the liberal constituency in US politics.
