Actually ABC said ALL the candidates including Dean take money from lobbyists, but ABC's guest included lawyers as lobbyists.

Lawyers are not necessarily representing anyone when they contribute money. I know lawyers who contribute to Kerry just as citizens. They are invited because they have a lot of money and can afford to give.

The troubling kinds of contributions are the kind Bush gets in huge amounts from pharmas, HMO's and polluters which he then directly rewards with huge windfalls in his energy and Medicare bills. Kerry has never done anything like that and never wil, not even close. DEan got 60 K from insuerers he later rewarded with a bill. It was cash given to him personally as a speaker while he was governor. Bottomline, Kerry is an honest as they get wheh it comes to chasing off special interests. Bush is the opposite.
