...email response from NTOP:

Before leaving work today, I sent Sarah Hofstetter an email pointing out some issues with the new website. Primary, there is an updated web page I found on the Internet, which was generated by a search engine crawler, which is not tied to the new website design. What that means is NTOP has a page with "Trade Shows" they will be attending, but there is no way in the world to access that new page from net2phone.com. I also asked if she/they could put "site map" onthe first webpage pulled up. A site map (with investor relations, etc., on it is only available if should happen to hit "search."

I have emailed Sarah three times in the past. Once to ask a question – she responded that evening, from home. Once to tell her thanks for her comments in a news article (that thanks, was dual – but unexpressed. I wanted to thank her for responding to my first email, and thank her for her article comments).

An email response from her was waiting for me when I got home tonite.

A couple of weeks ago, I emailed Investor Relations, and got no response. I pointed out a separate issue – the one Lakeview (Yahoo ntop private forum) discovered – having to do with the new list of Analysts covering NTOP – showing a KBRO web page as the url for Kaufman Bros. and the same KBRO web page for the "Independent Research Group (owned by thestreet.com). I got no response.

I took the opportunity in this email to do the following:

4) If you can tell me (so I can pass it along to the NTOP private forum), what is the most constructive (insightful) phrasing you have been allowed to say re any 'agreements', MOUs, etc. Or 'whatever.'

A) One way or another, Sarah has some idea about what gets posted re NTOP, and takes or took a look at it. I certainly didn't tell her more than I spend a lot of time looking "up" NTOP, because I find it embarrassing to be bashed day after day -- given the lies people will implement and feed down an information pipeline to successfully daytrade -- as if they couldn't daytrade without it. That probably means off the public board.

I phrased my question to her in such a way as to let her choose her response, in the most open way possible to her. Trust/Trust. This answer reflects her conflicts, and what she would like to say to put her past those conflicts. That was my intention. She knew something would be said here (Yahoo group -- ntop private forum).

B) Her complete response to me is appended:

Carrera,

I agree - you spend a considerable amount of time researching Net2Phone's activities. I'll look into the changes and consistency on the web site.

Blaylock had been planning a VoIP day in NYC, which they ended up postponing because of scheduling conflicts.

In terms of constructive forecasting, our pipeline is full of cable operators that we're speaking with in the US, Europe and Latin America. As the business modeling for this process is extremely lengthy, I'm not going to forecast when we're going to have our next deal. Please understand that we are selling cable operators an entirely new revenue generating unit - a deal will not get closed in a matter of weeks. The upside is obviously fantastic once you get the deal done, but these contracts and term sheets are very intricate. I can assure you that there is definite interest in our cable telephony solutions, and that we are in discussions with many cable operators - each at different levels.

Thanks again for your continued interest in Net2Phone – appreciate your questions as well as your pointing out the inconsistencies in the web site.
